On June 18th, Hong Kong Disneyland opened its gates to a limited number of local visitors. The place had to be shut due to Covid-19 outbreak but Hong Kong fought hard and saw a lesser number of infections.

As the citizens are trying to return to their routine while embracing new normal, Disneyland seems to have adopted the change pretty well.

The dining and shopping areas are expected to see reduced capacity. The team will be using enhanced health measures and implement social distancing rules in its attempt to keep everyone safe. They will also carry out disinfection more frequently and make hand sanitisers available for visitors, who are required to go through temperature screening and wear a face mask.

The local visitors reciprocated the excitement and came in to either have their first ever visit to Disneyland or to relive the memories they made before Corona forced us to stay inside.

But the good news doesn’t end at the reopening!

In a video released by Disney Parks, it was announced that while Hong Kong Disneyland has reopened, the Castle of Magical Dreams will launch in late 2020. The castle will be a symbol of hope, courage, and positivity.

We hope that everyone who is visiting or planning to visit Disneyland to enjoy their day to the fullest. We hope for your safety and well-being.
