Magic Kingdom’s iconic Cinderella Castle is getting a royal makeover!
In line with of the 70th anniversary of Cinderella, the castle will be getting a golden makeover inspired by the animated movie.
A prospective look at the castle has been unveiled by Disney, and it will soon look more regal than ever before. The image shows that the castle will feature beautiful golden touches as well as additional royal blue turrets.
In a statement, Disney said: “We are excited to share that her story has inspired a bold, shimmering and royal makeover of her namesake castle at the heart of Walt Disney World Resort.”
Work is due to start in the coming weeks and will continue throughout the summer. However, the castle shows and nighttime fireworks extravaganzas are expected to continue as normal.
