Last month, we told you that the Disney in the West End pop-up experience would be returning to London’s Covent Garden over the summer holidays.
The pop-up is currently in full swing and yesterday we decided to take a look around to see some of the wonderful delights on offer.
As we entered the pop-up, conveniently located on Long Acre, we were greeted with a number of sensational costumes from the West End production of The Lion King. It’s hard not to be blown away by these striking costumes!

Next up was a little bit of Aladdin, and the centre piece was of course the golden magic lamp. You can even take a picture whilst holding on to it! There were also two Aladdin arcade games which people were busy playing with. Sadly we didn’t have a go but it looked incredibly cool!

Speaking of cool, as you make your way around the corner, you enter into the pop-up’s Frozen area, where you can have your picture taken underneath a shimmery icicle curtain. Little ones, families and big kids alike were making the most of the photobooth and took home a lovely little keepsake!

Finally, there was a little Mary Poppins magic in the air. Not only could you admire some of the costumes, but there was also a great wall game which challenged you to spell Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and honestly, we applaud anyone who was able to succeed!
Amongst all the displays, there was also a seating area with a TV which showed some behind the scenes Disney footage. However, during the day you can take part in numerous workshops and experiences. For a full timetable of events, click here.
The Disney in the West End pop-up is a must see for any Disney lover. If you’re passing through London over the coming weeks then you’re in luck as the pop-up is here until Sunday September 1.
The pop-up experience is open between 10:30am-7pm Monday to Saturday, and 11am-5pm on Sundays.
