The Haunted Mansion is the only attraction to feature in 4 different lands across 4 different parks and on 9th August, Disneyland Resort will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of its attraction. The mansion overlooking the New Orleans Square is a very familiar one which is home to 999 haunting ghosts “with room for one more”.
To celebrate its anniversary, Disneyland will be holding special after-hours events called “The Haunted Mansion: Celebrating 50 Years of Retirement Unliving.” You’ll be able to experience limited time, themed food and drinks while you meet the inhabitants of the mansion. Madame Leota will kick off the celebrations with her “swinging wake” including musicians, dancers, and performers from beyond the grave.
There will also be new ways to capture your memories with Snapchat filters and opportunities to pose against themed backdrops with unlimited PhotoPass photos taken by the event photographers.
