Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begins on 8th November, and we’re in for a lot of big treats!

For the first time, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will join in the holiday festivities with brand new entertainment and gorgeous decorations both daytime and nighttime.

On Discovery Island, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a truly magical scene. Life-sized animal puppets will roam the land, meeting the villagers who make the island at home. However, come nightfall, animal shapes and bird lanterns will be illuminated all around you.

The Tree of Life awakens at sunset, with a fresh load of festive stories to tell you. You might even be treated to a few yuletide songs. The tree will shimmer and sparkle all through the night, alive with the spirit of nature and the joy of Christmas.

In DinoLand, the DJ introduces Chip ‘n’ Dale in a Holiday Hoopla Dance Party. There will be a range of different interactive games and activities for both children and adults alike. Charcter gathered for Donald’s Dino-Bash will all be in their colourful Christmas outfits ready to meet you!

Even Pandora – The World of Avatar will be getting into the Christmas spirit. Ex-pats living and working on the moon will celebrate out-of-this-world Christmas fun with a display at Pongu Pongu of kitschy holiday decor. A mix between vintage pieces from Earth and handcrafted items from Pandora will decorate the whole land.

Of course, it’s not just Christmas that will be celebrated. Diwali, the festival of lights, will also come to the kingdom where glowing flowers, lanterns, and more will illuminate the main square of Anandapur leading to the waterfront stage.

Guests will also be invited to share a traditional African celebration in the village of Harambe. Western traditions will be mixed with the colours and texture of authentic African celebrations. They will be full of amazing costumes and all-new music.

But you can’t have a Very Merry Christmas Party without a tree. Decorated with traditional and colourful ornaments and hidden animals, the tree will tower over the park entrance to get you ready for the magic.
