Disney has announced an exciting new collaboration which sees a wide range of celebrities and fashion icons designing their very own Mickey Mouse ear hats and Minnie Mouse ear headbands.
Among those who have designed their own Mouse Ears are supermodels Heidi Klum and Karlie Kloss, Star Wars actress Ashley Eckstein, designers Betsey Johnson and Vera Wang, and fashion brands Loungefly, Coach and The Blonds.
The ear hats and headbands will be available beginning May 24 at Disneyland Resort in California, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and online. New designs and designers will be unveiled monthly, with the current roster running until Summer 2020.
Showcasing her bejewelled ears on Twitter, Heidi Klum described the opportunity as a “dream come true”.
Taking to Instagram, Ashley Eckstein also shared her excitement stating: “Last year, Disney came to me and asked if I would be interested in designing my own pair of Minnie ears. I was shocked and in utter disbelief! I spent an entire weekend sketching ideas and the entire process has just been surreal!”
