It has been announced that Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is coming to Disneyland Park.

As reported by Disney Parks Blog, the first major Mickey-themed ride-through attraction will open at Mickey’s Toontown in 2022. Whilst we’ve got a while to wait, it looks set to be an incredible experience.

You will board a train with Goofy the engineer, as you prepare to step into the crazy world of a Mickey Mouse cartoon short. The unpredictable yet magical adventure is set to be full of twists and turns, with Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway using state-of-the-art technologies and dazzling visual effects to create an immersive multi-dimensional experience. The ride will also feature an original story and be accompanied by a lovable theme song.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will first be opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World Resort in spring 2020. The ride was originally set for an opening at the end of this year, however, the date has since been pushed back.
