Following the recent announcement of a Steamboat Willie kit, LEGO has revealed that more of our favourite Disney characters will soon be immortalised in plastic brick form.
The second Disney Minifigures series will be available from LEGO and other toy retailers from May 1 and includes 18 characters from films such as Frozen, Hercules and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The 18 figures are as follows:
- Anna and Elsa (Frozen)
- Hercules and Hades (Hercules)
- Princess Jasmine and Jafar (Aladdin)
- Jack Skellington and Sally (The Nightmare Before Christmas)
- Frozone and Edna Mode (The Incredibles)
- Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey and Louie (Duck Tales)
- Chip ‘n Dale
- Vintage Mickey Mouse and Vintage Minnie Mouse
With the live-action Aladdin remake and Frozen 2 due for release later this year, several of these figurines have been perfectly timed and we cannot wait to add them to our collection.
The second set of minifigures follows on from the original collection released in 2016, which featured characters including Aladdin, Ariel, Buzz Lightyear, Daisy and Donald Duck, Genie, Stitch, Peter Pan and Ursula.
LEGO Disney Minifigures 2 will retail for $3.99 in the US, £2.99 in the UK and 4.99 in Canada.
