At a conference this morning, Disneyland Paris announced their plans for the upcoming year and it all sounds so amazing that we can’t decide when to go? Can we just live there maybe?

Following the Christmas season, From January to March 2019, guests will see the return of the Season of the Force. You’ll get to meet your favourite characters, including Darth Vader and Chewbacca, as well as watching them perform The First Order March. There will also be two new shows: ‘Legends of a Galaxy Far, Far, Away’, and ‘Star Wars: A Galactic Celebration Show’. Enjoy the season in style with C3PO as you take a tour of the galaxy through Disneyland Paris’ very own Star Tours, or scream through the Hyperspace Mountain with a commemorative photo.

From 23rd March to 16th June 2019, we will see the return of the Marvel Superheroes. ‘The Superhero Alliance’ will return with new and improved scenes, as well as a new Guardians of the Galaxy show. Alongside your favourite superheroes, Groot will also be available for meet and greets this year. More news on this season will be announced soon, so keep your eyes out.

It looks like a big year for The Lion King as the summer season celebrates the Lion King and Jungle Festival from July to September 2019. Baloo, Simba, Timon, Pumbaa and other jungle friends come together to enjoy the wild calls of the jungle. The Lion King will also be shown throughout the days.

Of course, the Halloween season will enjoy its own new perks. Videopolis will invite you to a new Big Hero 6 show (with hints that there may be meetings with Baymax himself!). You will also be able to find The Descendants (the teenage children of your favourite villains) in a showing at Discoveryland Theatre. Don’t worry, all your favourite characters will also be around in new costumes and shows, including Evil Emperor Zurg, the arch-enemy of Buzz Lightyear. Something new is also coming to Adventure Isle, but we’ll have to wait for that surprise.

From 10th  October to 20th November, the Dream Big Princess Campaign will be held. It aims to encourage young girls to believe in their dreams through various workshops and promotes education for all.

From November 2019 to January 2020, the Christmas season is as magical as ever. Mickey will return with his Big Christmas Band, Goofy with his Incredible Christmas lights show on the Hollywood Tower of Terror, and Minnie Mouse has a special surprise for Mickey in a new show. And, of course, Santa’s Grotto will return to the Disneyland Hotel.

The Season of the Force returns again, running alongside the Festival of Pirates and Princesses from January to March 2020. Although there are not many changes announced yet, we know that alongside the Imperial March, there will be more new shows coming up. You’ll be able to meet BB-8 as well as Chewbacca and Darth Vader.

More magical events are also to be celebrated, including New Year’s Eve, celebrated with a party throughout the day in Walt Disney Studios, as well as tickets to an exclusive night where you will find an even bigger celebration, a bigger parade, and a bigger fireworks display, as well as one over the lake.

A new gaming event will be held in February, called Disneyland Paris Leaders Cup, which we will soon find out more about. Another new event is Magical Pride, an exclusive event to celebrate diversity, held in June.

Electroland, Disney Loves Jazz, and the Magic Run Weekend will all return too.
