We were so excited when it was announced that there would be a Toy Story 4 coming out next year, just as we were getting over the emotional Toy Story 3 ending.
But Toy Story actor Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear) has revealed that it will be bigger, better, and even more emotional.
He told The Talk: “It is so emotional, it’s so funny, it’s so big, the idea they’ve come up with, I’m startled.”
“I couldn’t even get through the last scene. They’ve got great characters but a couple of scenes toward the end were really hard to get through.”
He also told Entertainment Weekly: “It’s emotional and funny and exciting and different and took it to a whole new level. It walks the line between comfort: you know what’s going on, and discomfort: wondering what’s going to happen. It’s terrifically emotional.”
Plot details are pretty well hidden at the moment, but rumours suggest that this movie will focus on the relationship between Bo Peep and Woody with Randy Newman returning for the soundtrack.
Toy Story 4 is set to come to cinemas on 21st July 2019.
