Halloween time at Disneyland Resort is always a magical time, and Mickey’s Halloween Party returns with 15 after-hours events.
Tickets go on sale for annual pass holders on 5th June and are available to other Disney lovers from 15th June. You can buy them online at Disneyland.com/party as well as at the Disneyland Resort main gate and by phone at 714-781-4400.
At Disney California Park, Oogie Boogie (from Time Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas) will beckon guests through the gates of the park, alongside the 10-foot tall headless horseman, holding his jack-o-lantern high above the sky.
Cars Land will be turning Radiator Springs into Radiator Screams. The whole land will be transformed as the townsfolk find out their costumes and decorate their houses; Lightning McQueen, Mater, Cruz, Red and DJ all in costume too.
At night, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT will transform into Monsters after Dark. As the sun sets, the attraction will go dark, followed by a flash of lighting effects: a signal that something has gone wrong. The Guardians have successfully escaped The Collector’s Fortress, but have accidentally left Groot behind. Guests will help Rocket distract the creatures that have been released so he can find and rescue Groot in this exciting seasonal overlay.
The Halloween magic continues at the Disneyland Park, where guests will be in awe of the decorations down Main Street, U.S.A., including a giant Mickey jack-o-lantern and a pumpkin festival. The Day of the Dead will also be found in Frontierland with a musical trio of skeletons and Coco decor.
The Haunted Manion will form into The Haunted Mansion Holiday, celebrating the collision between Halloween and Christmas, true Jack Skellington style. Space Mountain will also see a Halloween makeover as it becomes Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. Guests will be surrounded by eerie screams, sound effects and music, as well as ghosts and ghouls popping out of the darkness.
Mickey’s Halloween Party will be an extra special treat for ticket holders, including special entertainment, classic attractions, and even the opportunity to go trick-or-treating around the park. In addition, guests will enjoy unlimited PhotoPass downloads of the night, capturing all your special memories.
There will be a ‘Frightfully Fun Parade’ led by the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow and a special fireworks show hosted by Jack Skellington to celebrate the Halloween holidays. Villain’s Square will be open for guests to take pictures with all the Disney villains and characters will be around the parks in their Halloween costumes.
The Halloween shows will last from 19th September through to 31st October giving you 15 opportunities to join in the nighttime fun.
Thank you for all the tips! Even though it is reaching the end of Halloween time at Disneyland, these tips will come in handy next year.
Since we both share a love for Disneyland, I wrote a post about the delicious Halloween treats at Disneyland. I would love it if you took a look. I do not mean to sound promotional at all, I would just love the support. Thank you! I love your post btw.
