Disneyland Paris has made the controversial decision to include bookings into character meets in the Walt Disney Studios.

From 7th June, visitors will have to book a slot to meet their favourite characters in the studios, including Mickey and friends, Buzz Lightyear, and The Incredibles (who have replaced Moana in the Art of Animation).

Slots will be booked from 10pm via the app ‘Lineberty‘. You scan the QR code, and choose a time to meet each character. It will look like this:

Many people are outraged at this decision, as it means that visitors may find it harder to book if they have no phone signal, especially foreign visitors who might not have mobile data in France, and those without a smartphone.

Some think it is a good thing, as it means less queuing and waiting around and gives you more time to go on the rides rather than waiting.

So, what do you think? Is it a good idea or too complicated?
